Isaiah 58:9-10
New English Translation

9 Then you will call out, and the Lord will respond;
you will cry out, and he will reply, ‘Here I am.’
You must[a] remove the burdensome yoke from among you
and stop pointing fingers and speaking sinfully.
10 You must[b] actively help the hungry
and feed the oppressed.[c]
Then your light will dispel the darkness,[d]
and your darkness will be transformed into noonday.[e]

New International Version

9 Then you will call,(A) and the Lord will answer;(B)
    you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.

“If you do away with the yoke of oppression,
    with the pointing finger(C) and malicious talk,(D)
10 and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry
    and satisfy the needs of the oppressed,(E)
then your light(F) will rise in the darkness,
    and your night will become like the noonday.(G)
