Hosea 8:11-13

11 Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin, his altars shall be to sin.
12 I have written to them the great things of my Law: but they were counted as a [a]strange thing.
13 They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it: but the [b]Lord accepteth them not: now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall return to Egypt.

11 “Though Ephraim built many altars for sin offerings,
these have become altars for sinning.(A)
12 I wrote for them the many things of my law,
but they regarded them as something foreign.(B)
13 Though they offer sacrifices as gifts to me,
and though they eat(C) the meat,
the Lord is not pleased with them.(D)
Now he will remember(E) their wickedness
and punish their sins:(F)
They will return to Egypt.(G)
