Hosea 7:15-16
Legacy Standard Bible

15 Although I disciplined and strengthened their arms,
Yet they (A)devise evil against Me.
16 They turn, but not [a]upward;
They are like a (B)deceitful bow;
Their princes will fall by the sword
Because of the [b](C)indignation of their tongue.
This will be their (D)scoffing in the land of Egypt.

    they are like a faulty bow.(D)
Their leaders will fall by the sword
    because of their insolent(E) words.
For this they will be ridiculed(F)
    in the land of Egypt.(G)
