His shoots will [a]sprout,
And his [b]beauty will be like the (A)olive tree
And his fragrance like the cedars of (B)Lebanon.
Those who (C)live in his shadow
Will [c]again raise (D)grain,
And they will blossom like the vine.
His renown will be like the wine of Lebanon.

O Ephraim, what more have I to do with (E)idols?
It is I who answer and look after [d]you.
I am like a luxuriant (F)cypress;
From (G)Me comes your fruit.
