And now they sin more and more,
And make for themselves (A)molten images,

All of them the (C)work of craftsmen.
They say of them, “Let the [b]men who sacrifice kiss the (D)calves!”
Therefore they will be like the (E)morning cloud
And like dew which [c]soon disappears,
Like (F)chaff which is blown away from the threshing floor
And like (G)smoke from a [d]chimney.

Yet I have been the (H)Lord your God
Since the land of Egypt;
And you were not to know (I)any god except Me,
For there is no savior (J)besides Me.

It is said of these people,
    “They offer human sacrifices!
    They kiss[a](D) calf-idols!(E)
Therefore they will be like the morning mist,
    like the early dew that disappears,(F)
    like chaff(G) swirling from a threshing floor,(H)
    like smoke(I) escaping through a window.

“But I have been the Lord your God
    ever since you came out of Egypt.(J)

    no Savior(M) except me.
