The calf itself will be taken to Assyria(A)

Ephraim will experience shame;(C)
Israel will be ashamed of its counsel.(D)
Samaria’s king will disappear[b](E)
like foam[c] on the surface of the water.
The high places(F) of Aven, the sin of Israel,(G)
will be destroyed;
thorns and thistles will grow over their altars.(H)
They will say to the mountains,(I) “Cover us!”
and to the hills, “Fall on us!” (J)
