Hosea 10:5-7
American Standard Version
5 The inhabitants of Samaria shall be in terror for the calves of Beth-aven; for the people thereof shall mourn over it, and [a]the priests thereof that rejoiced over it, for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it. 6 It also shall be carried unto Assyria for a present to king Jareb: Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel. 7 [b]As for Samaria, her king is cut off, as [c]foam upon the water.

New International Version
5 The people who live in Samaria fear
for the calf-idol(A) of Beth Aven.[a](B)
Its people will mourn over it,
and so will its idolatrous priests,(C)
those who had rejoiced over its splendor,
because it is taken from them into exile.(D)
6 It will be carried to Assyria(E)
as tribute(F) for the great king.(G)
Ephraim will be disgraced;(H)
Israel will be ashamed(I) of its foreign alliances.
7 Samaria’s king will be destroyed,(J)
swept away like a twig on the surface of the waters.
