Toobadkeeniddu Barakay Leedahay

14 Dadka Israa'iilow, u soo noqda Rabbiga Ilaahiinna ah, waayo, xumaantiinnii waad ku dhacdeen. Erayo ula taga Rabbiga, oo waxaad ku tidhaahdaan, Xumaanta oo dhan naga fogee oo si wanaagsan noo aqbal, oo annaguna waxaan sidii dibi qurbaan ah kuu siin doonnaa caabudidda bushimahayaga. Reer Ashuur na badbaadin maayo, oo annagu fardo fuuli mayno, oo weliba sancada gacmahayagana mar dambe ku odhan mayno, Waxaad tihiin ilaahayo. Waayo, agoontu adigay naxariis kaa helaan. Dibunoqoshadooda waan bogsiin doonaa, oo waxaan iyaga u jeclaan doonaa si ikhtiyaar ah, waayo, cadhadaydii way ka noqotay. Waxaan dadka Israa'iil u noqon doonaa sida sayaxa oo kale, oo iyaguna waxay u ubxin doonaan sida ubaxa oo kale, oo waxay xididdada u mudan doonaan sida Lubnaan oo kale. Laamahoodu way kala bixi doonaan oo quruxdooduna waxay ahaan doontaa sidii geedka saytuunka, oo caraftooduna waxay ahaan doontaa sidii Lubnaan oo kale. Oo kuwa hadhka hoos joogaana way soo noqon doonaan. Waxay u soo noolaan doonaan sida hadhuudhka oo kale, oo waxay u ubxin doonaan sida canabka oo kale. Udgoonkooduna wuxuu ahaan doonaa sida khamriga Lubnaan oo kale. Reer Efrayim waxay odhan doonaan, Bal maxaa mar dambe annaga iyo sanamyo noo dhexeeya? Anna waan u jawaabay oo waan fiirin doonaa. Waxaan ahay sida geed beroosh ah oo qoyan, midhihiinna xaggaygaa laga helaa. Kii xigmad lahu waxyaalahan ha fiirsado. Kii miyir lahuna ha garto. Waayo, Rabbiga jidadkiisu waa qumman yihiin, oo kuwii xaq ahuna way ku socon doonaan, laakiinse kuwa xadgudbaa way ku dhex dhici doonaan.

Repentance to Bring Blessing

14 [a]Return,(A) Israel, to the Lord your God.
Your sins(B) have been your downfall!(C)
Take words with you
    and return to the Lord.
Say to him:
    “Forgive(D) all our sins
and receive us graciously,(E)
that we may offer the fruit of our lips.[b](F)
Assyria cannot save us;(G)
    we will not mount warhorses.(H)
We will never again say ‘Our gods’(I)
to what our own hands have made,(J)
for in you the fatherless(K) find compassion.”

“I will heal(L) their waywardness(M)
    and love them freely,(N)
for my anger has turned away(O) from them.
I will be like the dew(P) to Israel;
he will blossom like a lily.(Q)
Like a cedar of Lebanon(R)
he will send down his roots;(S)
    his young shoots will grow.
His splendor will be like an olive tree,(T)
his fragrance like a cedar of Lebanon.(U)
People will dwell again in his shade;(V)
they will flourish like the grain,
they will blossom(W) like the vine—
Israel’s fame will be like the wine(X) of Lebanon.(Y)
Ephraim, what more have I[c] to do with idols?(Z)
I will answer him and care for him.
I am like a flourishing juniper;(AA)
    your fruitfulness comes from me.”

Who is wise?(AB) Let them realize these things.
Who is discerning? Let them understand.(AC)
The ways of the Lord are right;(AD)
    the righteous walk(AE) in them,
but the rebellious stumble in them.

14 O israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.

Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.

Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.

I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.

I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.

His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.

They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.

Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.

Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
