Hebrews 9:9-11
Revised Standard Version
9 (which is symbolic for the present age). According to this arrangement, gifts and sacrifices are offered which cannot perfect the conscience of the worshiper, 10 but deal only with food and drink and various ablutions, regulations for the body imposed until the time of reformation.
11 But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come,[a] then through the greater and more perfect tent[b] (not made with hands, that is, not of this creation)

9 This is an illustration(A) for the present time, indicating that the gifts and sacrifices being offered(B) were not able to clear the conscience(C) of the worshiper. 10 They are only a matter of food(D) and drink(E) and various ceremonial washings(F)—external regulations(G) applying until the time of the new order.

11 But when Christ came as high priest(H) of the good things that are now already here,[a](I) he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle(J) that is not made with human hands,(K) that is to say, is not a part of this creation.
