But Jesus Has a Better Ministry As Mediator of a Better Covenant With Better Promises
6 But He has now obtained a more-excellent ministry[a], by as much as He is indeed the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises!

7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, no place would have been sought for a second. 8 For, finding-fault-with[b] them, He says [in Jer 31:31-34]: “Behold— days are coming, says the Lord, and I will consummate[c] a new covenant for the house of Israel and for the house of Judah;

New International Version
6 But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant(A) of which he is mediator(B) is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises.
7 For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.(C) 8 But God found fault with the people and said[a]:
“The days are coming, declares the Lord,
when I will make a new covenant(D)
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
