5 They serve at a place that is a pattern, a shadow, of what is in heaven. When Moses was about to make the tent, God warned him, “Be sure to make everything based on the plan I showed you on the mountain.”
6 Yeshua has been given a priestly work that is superior to the Levitical priests’ work. He also brings a better promise[a] from God that is based on better guarantees. 7 If nothing had been wrong with the first promise, no one would look for another one.

5 They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy(A) and shadow(B) of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned(C) when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.”[a](D) 6 But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant(E) of which he is mediator(F) is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises.
7 For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.(G)
