Hebrews 8:4-6
Holman Christian Standard Bible
4 Now if He were on earth, He wouldn’t be a priest, since there are those[a] offering the gifts prescribed by the law. 5 These serve as a copy and shadow(A) of the heavenly things, as Moses was warned when he was about to complete the tabernacle. For God said, Be careful that you make everything according to the pattern that was shown to you on the mountain.(B)[b] 6 But Jesus has now obtained a superior ministry, and to that degree He is the mediator(C) of a better covenant,(D) which has been legally enacted on better promises.(E)

Hebrews 8:4-6
New International Version
4 If he were on earth, he would not be a priest, for there are already priests who offer the gifts prescribed by the law.(A) 5 They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy(B) and shadow(C) of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned(D) when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.”[a](E) 6 But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant(F) of which he is mediator(G) is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises.
