For ground that drinks the rain which often [a]falls on it and brings forth vegetation useful to those (A)for whose sake it is also tilled, receives a blessing from God; but if it yields thorns and thistles, it is worthless and (B)close [b]to being cursed, and [c]it ends up being burned.

Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed.(A) In the end it will be burned.
