Hebrews 6:7-9

7 For ground that drinks the rain which often [a]falls on it and brings forth vegetation useful to those (A)for whose sake it is also tilled, receives a blessing from God; 8 but if it yields thorns and thistles, it is worthless and (B)close [b]to being cursed, and [c]it ends up being burned.

9 But, (C)beloved, we are convinced of better things concerning you, and things that [d]accompany salvation, though we are speaking in this way.

New International Version
7 Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. 8 But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed.(A) In the end it will be burned.
9 Even though we speak like this, dear friends,(B) we are convinced of better things in your case—the things that have to do with salvation.
