6 it’s impossible to restore them again to repentance if they fall away, since they are crucifying God’s son all over again, on their own account, and holding him up to contempt. 7 You see, when rain falls frequently on the earth, and the land drinks it up and produces a crop useful to the people for whom it’s being cultivated, it shares in God’s blessing. 8 But if it produces thorns and thistles, it’s useless, and not far off from being cursed, and finally burned up.

6 and who have fallen[a] away, to be brought back to repentance.(A) To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God(B) all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. 7 Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. 8 But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed.(C) In the end it will be burned.
