2 For if the word (A)spoken through (B)angels proved [a]unalterable, and (C)every trespass and disobedience received a just [b](D)penalty, 3 (E)how will we escape if we neglect so great a (F)salvation? That salvation, first (G)spoken by the Lord, was (H)confirmed to us by those who heard, 4 God also testifying with them, both by (I)signs and wonders and by (J)various [c]miracles and by [d](K)gifts of the Holy Spirit (L)according to His own will.

2 For since the message spoken(A) through angels(B) was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment,(C) 3 how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation?(D) This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord,(E) was confirmed to us by those who heard him.(F) 4 God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles,(G) and by gifts of the Holy Spirit(H) distributed according to his will.(I)
