2 For if the word having been spoken through angels proved-to-be firm, and every transgression and disobedience received a just penalty, 3 how shall we escape, having neglected[a] so great a salvation?— which, having begun to be spoken by the Lord, was confirmed to[b] us by the ones having heard, 4 God testifying-with both signs and wonders and various miracles and distributions of the Holy Spirit according to His will.

2 For since the message spoken(A) through angels(B) was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment,(C) 3 how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation?(D) This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord,(E) was confirmed to us by those who heard him.(F) 4 God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles,(G) and by gifts of the Holy Spirit(H) distributed according to his will.(I)
