2 For if the word God spoke through angels became binding, so that every violation and act of disobedience received its just deserts in full measure, 3 then how will we escape if we ignore such a great deliverance? This deliverance, which was first declared by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him; 4 while God also bore witness to it with various signs, wonders and miracles, and with gifts of the Ruach HaKodesh which he distributed as he chose.

2 For since the message spoken(A) through angels(B) was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment,(C) 3 how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation?(D) This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord,(E) was confirmed to us by those who heard him.(F) 4 God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles,(G) and by gifts of the Holy Spirit(H) distributed according to his will.(I)
