Hebrews 13:5-7

⁵Let your conversation be without covetousness. And be content with those things that you have. For He has said,

⁶“I will neither fail you nor forsake you.”

⁷So that we may boldly say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear what man can do to me.”

⁵Keep your lives free from the love of money^(A) and be content with what you have,^(B) because God has said,

“Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.”^[a]^(C)

⁶So we say with confidence,

“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?”^[b]^(D)

⁷Remember your leaders,^(E) who spoke the word of God^(F) to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate^(G) their faith.
