Hebrews 11:3-5
New Revised Standard Version, Anglicised
3 By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was made from things that are not visible.[a]
The Examples of Abel, Enoch, and Noah
4 By faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable[b] sacrifice than Cain’s. Through this he received approval as righteous, God himself giving approval to his gifts; he died, but through his faith[c] he still speaks. 5 By faith Enoch was taken so that he did not experience death; and ‘he was not found, because God had taken him.’ For it was attested before he was taken away that ‘he had pleased God.’

Hebrews 11:3-5
King James Version
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
