Hebrews 11:25-27

25 choosing rather to share ill treatment with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; 26 accounting the reproach of [a]Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt: for he looked unto the recompense of reward. 27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

25 He chose to be mistreated(A) along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. 26 He regarded disgrace(B) for the sake of Christ(C) as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward.(D) 27 By faith he left Egypt,(E) not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible.
