¹⁹Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead,^(A) and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.

²¹For as the Father ^(A)raises the dead and ^(B)gives them life, so ^(C)also the Son gives life ^(D)to whom he will.

²¹For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life,^(A) even so the Son gives life^(B) to whom he is pleased to give it.
