11 By faith even (A)Sarah herself [a]received [b]ability to conceive, even beyond the proper time of life, since she regarded Him (B)faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore there were born even of one man, and (C)him as good as dead [c]at that, as many (D)as the stars of heaven in number, and innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.

13 (E)All these died in faith, (F)without receiving the promises, but (G)having seen them and having welcomed them from a distance, and (H)having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth.

13 All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised;(F) they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance,(G) admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth.(H)
