Hebrews 10:36-38

36 For you have need of (A)endurance, so that when you have (B)done the will of God, you may (C)receive the promise.

37 (D)For yet in a very little while,
(E)He who is coming will come, and will not delay.
38 (F)But My righteous one shall live by faith,
And if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him.

36 You need to persevere(A) so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.(B) 37 For,

“In just a little while,
    he who is coming(C) will come
    and will not delay.”[a](D)

38 And,

“But my righteous[b] one will live by faith.(E)
    And I take no pleasure
    in the one who shrinks back.”[c](F)
