34 for you had compassion on [a]me (A)in my chains, and (B)joyfully accepted the plundering of your [b]goods, knowing that (C)you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves [c]in heaven. 35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, (D)which has great reward. 36 (E)For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, (F)you may receive the promise:

34 You suffered along with those in prison(A) and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions.(B) 35 So do not throw away your confidence;(C) it will be richly rewarded.
36 You need to persevere(D) so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.(E)
