Hebrews 10:29-31
The Voice
29 Just think how much more severe the punishment will be for those who have turned their backs on the Son of God, trampled on the blood of the covenant by which He made them holy, and outraged the Spirit of grace with their contempt. 30 For we know the God who said, “Vengeance belongs to Me—I will repay,”[a] also said, “The Eternal One will judge His people.”[b] 31 It is truly a frightening thing to be on the wrong side of the living God.

29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God(A) underfoot,(B) who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant(C) that sanctified them,(D) and who has insulted the Spirit(E) of grace?(F) 30 For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”[a](G) and again, “The Lord will judge his people.”[b](H) 31 It is a dreadful thing(I) to fall into the hands(J) of the living God.(K)
