²⁹ How much worse punishment do you think one will deserve who has trampled on the Son of God, regarded as profane^[a] the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and insulted the Spirit of grace?^(A)

²¹ For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness^(A) than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy command^(B) delivered^(C) to them.^(D)

¹⁶ If anyone sees his brother committing a sin that does not bring death, he should ask, and God^[a] will give life to him—to those who commit sin that doesn’t bring death. There is sin^[b] that brings death. I am not saying he should pray about that.
