Habakkuk 3:7-9
English Standard Version
7 I saw the tents of (A)Cushan in affliction;
(B)the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.
8 (C)Was your wrath against the rivers, O Lord?
Was your anger against the rivers,
(D)or your indignation against the sea,
(E)when you rode on your horses,
(F)on your chariot of salvation?
9 You stripped the sheath from your bow,
calling for many arrows.[a] Selah
(G)You split the earth with rivers.

8 Was the Lord displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thine horses and thy chariots of salvation?
9 Thy bow was made quite naked, according to the oaths of the tribes, even thy word. Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.
