Habakkuk 3:12-14

12 In fury you trod the earth,
in anger you trampled nations.
13 You came forth to save your people,
to save your anointed.
You crushed the head of the wicked house,
laying it bare from foundation to roof.[a]Selah
14 You pierced with their[b] own arrows the head[c] of his warriors,[d]
who came like a whirlwind to scatter us,[e]
gloating as if ready to devour the poor who were in hiding.

12 In wrath you strode through the earth
and in anger you threshed(A) the nations.

You crushed(E) the leader of the land of wickedness,
you stripped him from head to foot.
14 With his own spear you pierced his head
when his warriors stormed out to scatter us,(F)
