New International Version

¹²In wrath you strode through the earth
and in anger you threshed^(A) the nations.

⁴²And Joshua captured all these kings and their land at one time, ^(A)because the Lord God of Israel fought for Israel.

⁴²All these kings and their lands Joshua conquered in one campaign, because the Lord, the God of Israel, fought^(A) for Israel.
