^54 (A)and the seven years of famine began to come, ^(B)as Joseph had said. The famine was in all lands, but in all the land of Egypt there was bread.

^57 (A)So all countries came to Joseph in Egypt to ^(B)buy grain, because the famine was severe in all lands.

⁵ And the sons of Israel went to buy grain among those who journeyed, for the famine was ^(A)in the land of Canaan.

⁶ For these two years the ^(A)famine has been in the land, and there are still five years in which there will be neither plowing nor harvesting.

¹¹ There I will ^(A)provide for you, lest you and your household, and all that you have, come to poverty; for there are still five years of famine.” ’
