Genesis 34:4-6 New English Translation
4 Shechem said to his father Hamor, “Acquire this young girl as my wife.”[a] 5 When[b] Jacob heard that Shechem[c] had violated his daughter Dinah, his sons were with the livestock in the field. So Jacob remained silent[d] until they came in.
6 Then Shechem’s father Hamor went to speak with Jacob about Dinah.[e]
