¹⁴ But ^(A)I will bring judgement on the nation that they serve, and afterwards ^(B)they shall come out with great possessions.

⁴ I myself will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also ^(A)bring you up again, and ^(B)Joseph's hand shall close your eyes.”

²¹ Then Israel said to Joseph, “Behold, I am about to die, but ^(A)God will be with you and will bring you again to the land of your fathers.

¹⁶ Go and ^(A)gather the elders of Israel together and say to them, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, has appeared to me, saying, ^(B)“I have observed you and what has been done to you in Egypt, ¹⁷ and I promise that ^(C)I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, a land ^(D)flowing with milk and honey.”’

²² By faith ^(A)Joseph, at the end of his life, made mention of the exodus of the Israelites and gave directions concerning his bones.
