⁷ The Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your offspring^[a](A) I will give this land.” So he built an altar there to the Lord who had appeared to him.

² “Moses my servant is dead.^(A) Now you and all the people prepare to cross over the Jordan^(B) to the land I am giving the Israelites.

³ for look, the days are coming”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“when I will restore the fortunes^[a] of my people Israel and Judah,”^(A) says the Lord. “I will restore them to the land I gave to their ancestors and they will possess it.”
