18 The sons of Noah who went out of the boat were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. (Ham was the father of Canaan.) 19 These three sons of Noah were the ancestors of all the people on earth.

17 So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant(A) I have established between me and all life on the earth.”

18 The sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham and Japheth.(B) (Ham was the father of Canaan.)(C) 19 These were the three sons of Noah,(D) and from them came the people who were scattered over the whole earth.(E)
