16 The bow will be in the clouds, and I will look at it and remember the permanent covenant(A) between God and all the living creatures on earth.” 17 God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant that I have established between me and every creature on earth.”

16 Whenever the rainbow(A) appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant(B) between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”
17 So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant(C) I have established between me and all life on the earth.”
