²¹ And Yahweh ^(A)smelled the ^[a]soothing aroma; and Yahweh said ^[b]to Himself, “I will never again ^(B)curse the ground because of man, for ^(C)the ^[c]intent of man’s heart is evil from his youth; ^(D)and I will never again strike down every living thing as I have done.

¹⁸ You shall offer up in smoke the whole ram on the altar; it is a burnt offering to Yahweh: ^(A)it is a soothing aroma, an offering by fire to Yahweh.

⁹ The priest then shall raise up from the grain offering ^(A)its memorial portion, and he shall offer it up in smoke on the altar as an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to Yahweh.

^12 (A)As an offering of first fruits you shall bring them near to Yahweh, but they shall not ascend for a soothing aroma on the altar.
