18 So Noah went out of the ark with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives. 19 All the animals, all the livestock,[a] all the birds, and everything crawling on the ground, came out of the ark by their families.
God’s promise for the earth
20 Noah built an altar to the Lord. He took some of the clean large animals and some of the clean birds, and placed entirely burned offerings on the altar.

18 So Noah came out, together with his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives.(A) 19 All the animals and all the creatures that move along the ground and all the birds—everything that moves on land—came out of the ark, one kind after another.
20 Then Noah built an altar to the Lord(B) and, taking some of all the clean animals and clean(C) birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings(D) on it.
