Genesis 50:9-11

9 Both the chariots and horsemen also went up with him. It was a very great company.
10 When they came to the threshing floor of Atad, which is beyond the Jordan, they mourned with a great and very sorrowful lamentation. He observed seven days of mourning for his father. 11 When the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning at the threshing floor of Atad, they said, “This is a grievous mourning for the Egyptians.” Therefore the place was called Abel Mizraim, which is beyond the Jordan.

New International Version
9 Chariots(A) and horsemen[a] also went up with him. It was a very large company.
10 When they reached the threshing floor(B) of Atad, near the Jordan, they lamented loudly and bitterly;(C) and there Joseph observed a seven-day period(D) of mourning(E) for his father.(F) 11 When the Canaanites(G) who lived there saw the mourning at the threshing floor of Atad, they said, “The Egyptians are holding a solemn ceremony of mourning.”(H) That is why that place near the Jordan is called Abel Mizraim.[b]
