28 All these are the [beginnings of the] twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father said to them as he blessed them, blessing each one according to the blessing appropriate to him. 29 He charged them and said to them, “I am to be gathered to my people; bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite, 30 in the cave in the field at Machpelah, east of Mamre, in the land of Canaan, that Abraham bought, along with the field from Ephron the Hittite, to possess as a burial site.(A)

28 All these are the twelve tribes of Israel,(A) and this is what their father said to them when he blessed them, giving each the blessing(B) appropriate to him.
The Death of Jacob
29 Then he gave them these instructions:(C) “I am about to be gathered to my people.(D) Bury me with my fathers(E) in the cave in the field of Ephron the Hittite,(F) 30 the cave in the field of Machpelah,(G) near Mamre(H) in Canaan, which Abraham bought along with the field(I) as a burial place(J) from Ephron the Hittite.
