4 saying to me, ‘Behold, I will make you fruitful. I will multiply you and make you become a multitude of peoples, and I will give this land to your descendants after you as an eternal possession.’
5 “Now the two sons born to you in the land of Egypt before I arrived to be with you in Egypt are mine. Ephraim and Manasseh will be mine just like Reuben and Simeon. 6 The sons that you will have after these, they will be yours. They will be called by the name of their brothers in their inheritance.

New International Version
4 and said to me, ‘I am going to make you fruitful and increase your numbers.(A) I will make you a community of peoples, and I will give this land(B) as an everlasting possession to your descendants after you.’(C)
5 “Now then, your two sons born to you in Egypt(D) before I came to you here will be reckoned as mine; Ephraim and Manasseh will be mine,(E) just as Reuben(F) and Simeon(G) are mine. 6 Any children born to you after them will be yours; in the territory they inherit they will be reckoned under the names of their brothers.
