Genesis 48:12-14
Revised Standard Version
12 Then Joseph removed them from his knees, and he bowed himself with his face to the earth. 13 And Joseph took them both, E′phraim in his right hand toward Israel’s left hand, and Manas′seh in his left hand toward Israel’s right hand, and brought them near him. 14 And Israel stretched out his right hand and laid it upon the head of E′phraim, who was the younger, and his left hand upon the head of Manas′seh, crossing his hands, for Manas′seh was the first-born.

New International Version
12 Then Joseph removed them from Israel’s knees(A) and bowed down with his face to the ground.(B) 13 And Joseph took both of them, Ephraim on his right toward Israel’s left hand and Manasseh on his left toward Israel’s right hand,(C) and brought them close to him. 14 But Israel(D) reached out his right hand and put it on Ephraim’s head,(E) though he was the younger,(F) and crossing his arms, he put his left hand on Manasseh’s head, even though Manasseh was the firstborn.(G)
