29 Joseph prepared his chariot and went up to meet his father Israel in Goshen. As soon as Israel made his appearance, Joseph threw his arms around him and wept a long time on his shoulder. 30 And Israel said to Joseph, “At last I can die, now that I have seen for myself that you are still alive.”
31 Joseph then said to his brothers and his father’s household: “I will go up and inform Pharaoh, telling him: ‘My brothers and my father’s household, whose home is in the land of Canaan, have come to me.

New International Version
29 Joseph had his chariot(A) made ready and went to Goshen to meet his father Israel.(B) As soon as Joseph appeared before him, he threw his arms around his father[a] and wept(C) for a long time.(D)
30 Israel(E) said to Joseph, “Now I am ready to die, since I have seen for myself that you are still alive.”(F)
31 Then Joseph said to his brothers and to his father’s household, “I will go up and speak to Pharaoh and will say to him, ‘My brothers and my father’s household, who were living in the land of Canaan,(G) have come to me.(H)
