27 (A)Two sons were born to Joseph in Egypt, bringing to seventy the total number of Jacob's family who went there.

28 Jacob sent Judah ahead to ask Joseph to meet them in Goshen. When they arrived, 29 Joseph got in his chariot and went to Goshen to meet his father. When they met, Joseph threw his arms around his father's neck and cried for a long time.

27 With the two sons[a] who had been born to Joseph in Egypt,(A) the members of Jacob’s family, which went to Egypt, were seventy[b] in all.(B)

28 Now Jacob sent Judah(C) ahead of him to Joseph to get directions to Goshen.(D) When they arrived in the region of Goshen, 29 Joseph had his chariot(E) made ready and went to Goshen to meet his father Israel.(F) As soon as Joseph appeared before him, he threw his arms around his father[c] and wept(G) for a long time.(H)
