27 (A) Jacob's two grandsons who were born there made it a total of 70 members of Jacob's family in Egypt.

28 Jacob had sent his son Judah ahead of him to ask Joseph to meet them in Goshen. 29 So Joseph got in his chariot and went to meet his father. When they met, Joseph hugged his father around the neck and cried for a long time.

28 Now Jacob sent Judah(C) ahead of him to Joseph to get directions to Goshen.(D) When they arrived in the region of Goshen, 29 Joseph had his chariot(E) made ready and went to Goshen to meet his father Israel.(F) As soon as Joseph appeared before him, he threw his arms around his father[c] and wept(G) for a long time.(H)
