7 God sent me before you to make sure that your people will keep living on the earth. Now many of you will be saved. 8 So it was not you who sent me here, but God. He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and ruler of all his house, and of all the land of Egypt. 9 Hurry and go to my father. 7 But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant(A) on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance.[a](B)
8 “So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God.(C) He made me father(D) to Pharaoh, lord of his entire household and ruler of all Egypt.(E) 9 Now hurry(F) back to my father and say to him, ‘This is what your son Joseph says: God has made me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me; don’t delay.(G)
