2 He wept loudly;[a] the Egyptians heard it and Pharaoh’s household heard about it.[b]
3 Joseph said to his brothers, “I am Joseph! Is my father still alive?” His brothers could not answer him because they were dumbfounded before him. 4 Joseph said to his brothers, “Come closer to me,” so they came near. Then he said, “I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt.

New International Version
2 And he wept(A) so loudly that the Egyptians heard him, and Pharaoh’s household heard about it.(B)
3 Joseph said to his brothers, “I am Joseph! Is my father still living?”(C) But his brothers were not able to answer him,(D) because they were terrified at his presence.(E)
4 Then Joseph said to his brothers, “Come close to me.”(F) When they had done so, he said, “I am your brother Joseph, the one you sold into Egypt!(G)
