¹⁰ so they cried out to the Lord, saying, “We have sinned against you.^(A) We have abandoned our God and worshiped the Baals.”

⁶ let your eyes be open and your ears be attentive^(A) to hear your servant’s prayer that I now pray to you day and night^(B) for your servants, the Israelites. I confess the sins^[a] we have committed against you. Both I and my father’s family have sinned.^(C)
