Genesis 43:4-6
International Children’s Bible
4 If you will send Benjamin with us, we will go down and buy food for you. 5 But if you refuse to send Benjamin, we will not go. The governor of that country warned us. He said we would not see him if we didn’t bring Benjamin with us.”
6 Jacob, also called Israel, said, “Why did you tell the man you had another brother? You have caused me a lot of trouble.”

4 If you will send our brother along with us, we will go down and buy food for you.(A) 5 But if you will not send him, we will not go down, because the man said to us, ‘You will not see my face again unless your brother is with you.(B)’”
6 Israel(C) asked, “Why did you bring this trouble(D) on me by telling the man you had another brother?”
