⁶ Now ^(A)Joseph was the one in power over the land; he was the one who sold to all the people of the land. And Joseph’s brothers came and ^(B)bowed down to him with their ^[a]faces to the ground.

³ Then this Daniel began distinguishing himself ^[a]among the commissioners and satraps because an ^(A)extraordinary spirit was in him, and the king planned to set him over the ^(B)entire kingdom.

¹⁰ and rescued him from all his afflictions, and ^(A)granted him favor and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and he appointed him governor over Egypt and all his household.
