Genesis 42:2-4

2 I have heard that there is grain available in Egypt. Go down and buy some for us before we all starve to death.”
3 So Joseph’s ten older[a] brothers went down to Egypt to buy grain. 4 However, Jacob wouldn’t let Joseph’s younger brother Benjamin go with them, for fear some harm might happen to him as it had to his brother Joseph.[b]

New International Version
2 He continued, “I have heard that there is grain in Egypt. Go down there and buy some for us,(A) so that we may live and not die.”(B)
3 Then ten of Joseph’s brothers went down to buy grain(C) from Egypt. 4 But Jacob did not send Benjamin,(D) Joseph’s brother, with the others, because he was afraid that harm might come to him.(E)
